Hello Earth!
half an hour ago, we celebrated dad's birthday a day in advance. It was a simple just-blow-the-candle-and-cut-the-cake kinda celebration. Though simple but i can see that he's really happy. When sis was preparing lighting up the candles, papa was actually grumbling saying "aiya no need to celebrate lah, so old already still celebrate what." And he goes on and on. Then when the cake was ready, all of us begin singing birthday song. Just as we started singing, a smile smeared across pa's face. Its been awhile since i last see him smile like this, it was a such a wide smile that i could see wrinkles around the eye area. I know he don't actually mean what he said, who doesn't like to have birthday celebrations? At that particular moment, Ive got the urge to give him a huge hug. However, it seems awkward because as long as i can remember, i was 8 or 9 when i last hugged him. The most important thing is that Pa is happy (:
Though i know he won't be reading this but still,
HAPPY 52th BIRTHDAY, PA.
It was a short, sweet, and adventurous day out with ahmad today. (: Met up in the late afternoon and visited Cityhall's biennale again as we're afraid we may miss out some of the art pieces. In case you guys still have yet visited biennale, the admissions are all free now and all merchandise are having a 40% discount. I strongly encourage all of you to go and have a look because this is the first biennale in Singapore, a lot of the art installations are really worth looking at. Anyway, back to today... we strolled around cityhall area after that. Had Nasi Lemak and popiah for dinner, rot near esplanade then obediently head home around 9pm.
gotstogo practice guitar. =D
