A train ride home.

A train ride home.

It was an approxiamtely 50 minutes ride home this afternoon. As usual, i couldn't find a seat. Or rather even if there's a seat, i would prefer to stand (unless im really physically exhausted) at my favourite spot, which is at the conjunction between the two cabins. Seriously, i can't stand those who can just continue sitting or pretending to be asleep when they see an old lady/man stood feebly in front of them. Nevertheless, there still a handful of considerate people around.

I love taking train rides (i have serious bus sick, taxi sick also. i get nausea damn easily.), because human being's behavior never fails to amuse me. I think this is the only time where i could look and really observe. This scenario happens a lot of times when i was in the train. Imagine the train is so packed and someone just allow their inner gas out uncontrollably, oh my god, FATAL. The invisible gaseous substance is so deadly, but surprisingly no one gets out of the train at the next stop, to take in a clearer breath. I guess all of us know that this is human nature. We can't possibly say "err, excuse me, i need to let out gas, please stop breathing for 3mins". Haha, that'll will be so shocking lah. What i'll usually do when i smell something awkward, is stop breathing or if zzy is beside me, i'll smell him instead.

Train rides are boring, most would doze off in the train, read a book, newspaper, tune in MP3, texting or talking on the phone. A few would just stone and look blankly into the air. I spotted a few "unique" ones which kept me guessing their thoughts today.

A girl, student stood near the door, in fact her left side of the body was leaning onto the door. Her head tilt to see the reflection of herself, and she was grinning at her own reflection. I tried reading her thoughts, i figured that she must be grinning to the thought of something hilarious in school earlier on. Then, there was an old Indian woman sitting with head against the glass panel. The expression on her face and the look in her eyes spell of weariness and worries. Or maybe she's just tired? She has deep and beautiful eyes though. At that moment, i wished i have psychic mind, like one of the character in Heros. I could understand and know exactly what a person is thinking.

Transferred train in JurongEast, these two malay girls were having the time of their life, playing some clap and sing game. The younger one couldn't catch up with the rhythm and they had to start over and over again. Too bad, its only one stop to BukitBatok from JE, i didn't get the chance to learn the full version of the game.

However, i still remember the clap and sing game that was in the trend at my time. "mi mi mi re mi fa so mi, fa fa fa so fa mi re do.... " (:
